A Treasury Controller job working in Southampton (just off the M3) for a large international group. The role will support the Cash Management and Accounts Payable teams, ensuring effective operational management, assessing existing controls and driving change. The person in this role will manage financial resources including appropriate use of funds and effective cashflow management, and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external. This is a pivotal role which provides support, guidance and training to the teams, whilst they go through a period of change/transition.
Responsibilities include:
* Working closely with the Cash Management and AP Team Leaders to ensure that the areas are managed effectively. Actively manage the relationships with all customer stakeholders. Discussing performance and driving appropriate action plans to meet their requirements.
* Building excellent relationships with the Company's Bankers and Investment managers ensuring that there is mutual understanding of each others operations, systems and developments so that business is transacted efficiently, effectively and economically.
* Working across the other areas within Financial Operations as appropriate to ensure that controls (especially key balance sheet account reconciliations) are effective.
