This Big 4 firm currently has one of the leading advisory teams focused on hedge fund and private equity clients and is finding that its core markets are starting to generate good levels of work. Its pipeline is healthy and consequently it is looking to recruit experienced corporate tax seniors to specialise in this area and contribute to the growth of the team.
The role is purely advisory in nature and will focus on one-off projects, offering transaction support to clients and assisting with business development and marketing initiatives as well as mentoring less experienced staff.
The right person may be ACA, CTA, a fully trained Inspector of Taxes, or an experienced corporate tax senior, but any candidate must have some experience of FS tax issues. Prior experience of funds or private equity tax issues would be a real advantage. The opportunities for varied work and progression are excellent.
