Role Purpose:
To provide corporation tax support to the Group Tax Manager and management of the GroupВ’s corporation tax payments of cВЈ70m-ВЈ100m per annum.
Requirements:
Must have a 2:2 degree or higher and be a qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent, with considerable corporation tax experience. The Chartered Institute of Tax Qualifications would be advantageous but not essential.
Experience of the following areas would be advantageous; these would become the jobholderВ’s key performance objectives:-
В• Preparation of tax provisions for forecasting and management reporting purposes, and assist with executive reporting.
В• Preparation of tax provisions for interim and full year financial statements and relevant disclosures under IFRS.
В• Preparation of Research & Development Tax Credit claims.
В• Preparation and submission of UK corporation tax computations including dealing with HMRC enquires
В• Preparation of quarterly corporate tax payments under CTSA.
В• Maintain group tax data and attributes by company including historic information.
В• Assist with management of the group transfer pricing policy and documentation.
В• Monitor overseas subsidiaryВ’s direct tax compliance and related tax risks.
В• Assist with tax issues relating to projects.
В• Act as a point of contact for business units and accountants on tax matters.
В• Preparation and submission of claims & elections
В• Dealing with DTR and CFC issues
В• Working with external advisors
В• Excellent spreadsheet skills required
В• Ability to use Alphatax
В• Tax research skills; ability to summarise findings
