This international accountancy firm is looking for an ACA/ICAS/CTA qualified senior manager or director to advise a broad range of private business and private equity clients. As a senior member of the department in addition to technical work you will also have responsibility for the day to day management of the team.
The focus of the work will be tax advisory and will cover a wide range of issues related to both the corporate entity and its owners. These issues include:
• Dealing with corporation tax, especially in respect of issues relating to owner managed businesses.
• Preparing complex capital gains tax computations on shares, property and other assets, including knowledge of CGT relief such as EIS deferral relief and substantial share holding exemption.
• Advising on succession and IHT Planning
• Partnerships including traditional professional partnership structures and issues as well as of the rules applicable to LLPs.
• Advising around the self assessment system .
• Advising around the domicile and residence rules.
• Having an awareness of the operation of share schemes and company law in relation to share schemes.
You should also have strong business development skills with a proven track record of developing client relationships and sustaining them.
