Our South West & Wales Global Employer Services team is looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial and knowledgeable employment taxes manager to join us. We are a rapidly growing business with strong, distinctive relationships with a diverse number of clients.
The work in our team is varied and rewarding, ranging from large scale employment advisory projects to handling bespoke client requirements. As a Manager, you will have an opportunity to develop your client and team handling skills, gain some fantastic technical experience and build your career. On a day to day basis, you will be:
· Providing an employment tax consulting service to clients, relating to PAYE, NIC, remuneration planning, salary sacrifice, terminations / redundancies, and restructuring / transaction issues
· Contributing to the growth of the practice by assisting with business development initiatives
· Managing less experienced colleagues, including delegating work, training and development and appraisals

Role Requirements:
· Experience working in employment taxes in either the BIG 4, a mid-tier firm, industry or HMRC
· The successful candidate will be at least ATT (and/or preferably CTA or ACA) qualified
· Proven experience of providing advice on or working in all core employment taxes areas, including:
o the operation of PAYE and National Insurance on payments and expenses and end of year compliance
o the tax treatment of benefits in kind and the application of associated exemptions and deductions
o PAYE Settlement Agreements and dispensations
o Salary sacrifice
o Form 42s and the operation of PAYE and NI on share schemes;
o Some awareness in relation to the payroll tax treatment of internationally-mobile employees, modified PAYE and NI arrangements, auto enrolment, short term business visitors and disguised remuneration legislation
· Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
· Ability to delegate and manage junior members of the team
· A willingness to be based in our Bristol office but to spend time as required working in our Cardiff office.
