The Location:
Lausanneis situated in the French speaking region ofSwitzerlandon the Shores of lake Geneva. It is the fourth Largest city in the Country and the municipality contains a multitude of towns and villages offering an excellent standard of living accommodation. The city has a very cosmopolitan feel as nearly 40% of the population are foreign nationals, re-locating here for work. The city also plays host to the Headquarters of several international organisations.
The Role:
You will provide reasonable assurance that information systems relevant for financial reporting achieve business objectives. You will also ensure that undesired events will be prevented or detected and corrected.
Specifically you will:
* Support the implementation of appropriate IT General Controls and Application Controls to address risks in business and IT processes
* Support the PMI wide SOX 404 exercise for IT General Computer Controls on a global level, including planning and coordination across PMI regions/affiliates and external auditors
* Perform various types of IS Controls reviews and control assessments in applying best practices and standards in IS auditing with limited supervision
* Organize and deliver trainings and workshops to affiliates concerning IS Controls tools and best practices
There will be some travel but it is not extensive - perhaps once every 2 months on average, however it could be that there are more than that the first 6 months of a year and none in the second 6 months. Key regions/cities:Lausanne, Krakow,Buenos Aires,Russia,Hong Kong
Key requirements:
* Minimum of 4 years Audit experience, but ideally 4 years in Big 4 role followed by 1-2 years Internal Audit.
* FMCG experience is a MUST - so if you have this, make sure it is written on your CV.
* Solid experience implementing internal controls within an IT/IS audit or IT/IS internal control function (4 years experience).
* Strong SOX experience
* IT/IS background, SAP knowledge
* Solid written & verbal communications skills in English
* Experience dealing directly with and influencing Senior Management
* Very good analytical skills
* Be able to deliver training where necessary (directly / presentations / webcast)
