A brand new VAT role has been created within this global IT solutions provider. Through innovation & market leading technology, the company is experiencing exponential growth. Following the recent appointment of their first Head of Tax – the company is now looking for someone to manage their global VAT responsibilities.
This role requires extensive UK VAT experience, but there will also be a strong international component to the role, advising on VAT/GST issues that impact local businesses across Asia Pac, North & South America, the Middle East and Continental Europe. Please note that an awareness of GST rather than practical experience is required.
This role is very much focused towards VAT advisory, providing advice on business initiatives whilst also supporting local business advisors when new jurisdictions are entered into. You must also be willing to take ownership of the compliance obligations, ensuring these are adhered to.
Personality is just as important as technical prowess, so you will be results-driven, have proven ‘project execution’ capabilities and be someone who works well in a team & can forge long-lasting & productive relationships both within the organisation & externally.
