This leading broadcasting organisation has an opening for a Senior Tax Manager to join the in-house tax department on an interim basis. Current activities for the tax business include providing tax input into business initiatives and developments, providing advice on M&A and group restructuring projects, delivering efficiency savings from process improvements in tax compliance and reporting and resolving outstanding legacy issues with HMRC.
Supporting the Acting Director of Tax, you will assume responsibility for the following:
* Dealing with complex M&A and Group restructuring projects
* Providing Tax leadership to the Group's statutory entity reduction project
* Reviewing Tax Reporting outputs
* Providing ad hoc direct tax advice to all business units
* Providing challenge and support to the Tax team in respect of plans for SAO compliance
* Ad hoc project work
Suitable candidates will have 5-10 years direct tax experience, ideally gained at a senior level in a UK headquartered publicly listed company. You will have a high level of commercial awareness, good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal quickly and decisively with issues arising in a fast-changing and entrepreneurial business.
