Bristol-Myers Squibb are creating a new Tax Centre of Excellence at their Chester site and are seeking a variety of outstanding, international Tax Accountants at different levels of experience to become part of this Global team. Such a unique opportunity will allow you to utilise & develop your tax experience in a fully supported and rewarding environment whilst gaining international and country specific tax expertise.
As a Tax Accountant in Chester, you will provide international tax advice and take responsibility for managing the tax profile of a group of markets within the EMEA organisation ensuring that the BMS group tax position is optimised. In addition you will prepare US reporting submissions and local compliance filings, supporting and executing the implementation of tax projects, initiatives and changes in legislation.
As we operate in a range of jurisdictions in Europe you will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with tax admin at local levels.
We are seeking?
- A range of experienced corporate Tax Specialists (from recently qualified to senior level)
- CPA / Chartered Accountant or equivalent with further tax specialisation preferred
- Experience of one, preferably two, big European jurisdictions in relation to tax compliance and basic tax planning
- International large company experience with an understanding of the implications of international tax laws within a complex global organisation
- Strong communicators with the ability to develop relationships across the business
