Our client is a leading foreign listed multinational operating across a wide range of business services on a global basis. They have an extremely rare opportunity to start up a VAT function from scratch reporting into the Head of Tax with a dotted line to the FD. This role is highly autonomous and is focused on high level strategic advisory and planning matters with a particular focus on Europe. The group is highly active so you will be involved in M & A, tax efficient financing, structuring, leasing, IP, and contract reviews on a cross-border basis. The Head of Tax is a high achiever and is very passionate about tax and business. We recruited a Tax Manager for him who so we know the company extremely well and can confidently say that this is one of the best VAT opportunities the market has ever seen at this level.
The successful candidate must have substantial in house experience to demonstrate proven commercial prowess and you must also have solid European VAT experience. Base salary is up to ?68,000 ?7,000 car 16% bonus 10% pension.
