One of the largest banks in the world is seeking to add an Operational Tax Manager to their rapidly evolving asset management tax team. The role is based in Zurich working with and reporting directly to the Global Head of Operational Tax areas within the EMEA business.

The position will require you to provide specific tax advice to the business through identification of tax risk through the product life cycle and tax law developments relevant to the organisation. Specifically you will be focussed on providing support to Product Development and Product Management business areas in Europe in respect of management and distribution of investment funds and similar products.

An economic/business or legal degree from a top level university as well as accountancy qualifications and/or tax qualifications is necessary. Alongside this at least four years work experience in asset management taxation of a Big Four (or similar), law firm and/or tax department of a multinational or bank/financial institution). Broad knowledge of international tax issues, strong language skills (English and German) and an ability to work within a team meeting deadlines are hugely advantageous.
