This is a one off opportunity to secure a part time role, working 2.5 days per week on a permanent basis. Working for an instantly recognisable global brand name, this role involves overseeing and managing 1 Direct Tax Accountant and providing support to the group meeting its UK corporate tax obligations.
The role encompasses responsibility for all aspects of tax compliance, including but not limited to tax disclosure in UK statutory accounts, group reporting, managing correspondence with HMRC and various due diligence and project requirements as they arise.
This role would best suit a UK qualified tax specialist with substantial corporation tax experience in either a top professional services firm or in-house, in a medium or large corporation. This role would also suit those looking to move into Industry from a Big 4 accounting organisation.
The Direct Tax Manager role requires:
*Computer literacy (experience in the operation of Abacus would be useful)
*Excellent communication / interpersonal skills to be able to effectively deal with the Group Companies and Senior Management team
*Ability to work with minimal supervision using own initiative
*Ability to communicate and present technical issues with people of varying technical capability
