Starting out as EMEA VAT Analyst, the position will progress to EMEA VAT Manager within 12 months as the current EMEA VAT Manager retires in 2010.
Your initial responsibilities will be to prepare reports for the filing of VAT returns in over 30 jurisdictions, familiarising yourself with the systems & processes, and co-ordinating with the compliance centre in Brussels to handle the monthly reporting and deal with questions as they arise. You will work closely with IT and system staff to enhance and improve processes which impact the VAT accounting, and will provide support of the SAP ERP system and SABRIX VAT engine.
This position offers a real chance to make an impact. Once in the Manager role, you will have full autonomy to redesign processes, lead projects and set up the department in the way you want. This is a dynamic and constantly evolving company where you will have autonomy to redesign processes to make a real impact. You will need to be able to project manage & lead teams from across many different functions of the business.
