- Managing the tax compliance process both locally and internationally with a view to ensuring the business is fully compliant
- Proactive development of tax compliance systems
- Dealing with sundry internal legal requests that have a tax focus
- Proactive identification and management of tax risks related to the businesses international activities
- Assist Head of Tax with tax planning projects such as outbound investment and internal reorganisations
Key requirements:
- Professional qualification - tax, accounting and/or legal
- Strong academic record with top tier university
- Impeccable English language skills with Arabic preferred but not essential
- At least 4 years post qualification experience
- Excellent tax compliance experience
- Significant experience of advising on international and M&A tax matters including desired experience of advising in respect to the US, UK, pan European and Asia (no one country tax knowledge is a strict pre-requiste)
- Funds experience beneficial
- Effective written and verbal commercial skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to proactively engage with the Legal Department and wider teams within the business
- Ability to develop role as organisation grows
