We are currently recruiting for the EMEA tax lead for this global organisation. Reporting directly into the Finance Director and managing a small team, you will take responsibilities for all taxes within the region. This business has an excellent reputation for looking after their employees.
The role
* Corporate Tax Management, including:
o Preparation and filing for Corporation Tax returns
o Corporation tax computations for the Management Accounts
o Tax forecasting
o Maintenance and updating of tax benefits as per the current group structure and also if there are any changes to the company structure, for example, due to an acquisition or disposal
o Mergers & Acquisition support
* VAT Management, including:
o Preparation and filing of VAT returns
o Introducing clear concise guidance to the businesses on VAT rules
o Mergers & Acquisition support
* Transfer pricing strategy and policy implementation
* Proposing and setting tax strategy with the Finance Director an external advisors
* AD hoc project management
The person
* ACA, ACCA and/or CTA
* At least 5 years PQE
* Self starter with the desire to take responsibility of the EMEA Tax function
* Management skills
* Good communication skills
