Assistant Manager Indirect Tax

* Advise on all the main indirect taxes including VAT, Customs Duties, Insurance Premium Tax and, increasingly, Environmental Taxes

* Lead existing client engagements, reporting direct to Directors and Partners
* Assist with business development initiatives on target accounts, contributing to winning new work
* Be involved in developing new market opportunities locally and nationally
* Operate in tandem across service lines to deliver outstanding client service and identify opportunities
To be considered you would ideally have:
* An IIT/CTA/ATT qualification or equivalent qualifications or experience
* Prior VAT experience gained within a professional services environment or HMRC
* Excellent client facing, relationship building, communication and business development skills, coupled with commercial awareness
* The ability to identify opportunity and take early responsibility
* The ability to plan, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
